Winning strategic accounts: the impact of elaya's sales coaching at goFLUENT

goFLUENT, the language training specialist, has chosen elaya to support its sales talent in winning major accounts. Tailor-made support, combining coaching and training, enables goFLUENT's talents to gain in confidence and impact on complex accounts.

Context: Breaking out of your comfort zone to take a strategic step forward

At goFLUENT, our core business is to offer language training solutions to companies of all sizes, connecting our platform to IT systems to give all employees access to interactive content. A flexible and attractive model.

For several years now, our ambition has been to seek out more strategic contracts, with complex, global accounts - what we call 'Most Wanted Accounts'," explains Christophe Ferrandou, CEO of goFLUENT.

But in practice, the sales teams were finding it hard to get out of their comfort zone and go after more ambitious contracts. The aim was to support the company's sales talents, empower them and give them the confidence to address these demanding accounts.

Business-focused support for corporate talent

To meet this need, goFLUENT called on elaya to provide them with tools and methodology for complex sales.

The support takes the form of training - coaching sessions as part of goFLUENT's internal University, in a program reserved for the company's identified talents.

We're not talking about theoretical training, but concrete, business-oriented coaching. We talk about approaching calls for tender, managing relationships with complex accounts... It's very pragmatic. Christophe Ferrandou

The face-to-face sessions created links between teams spread across several countries.

Each group brings together 5 to 7 people from 5 to 7 different countries. It's also a way of networking and sharing experiences between peers," emphasizes Christophe Ferrandou.

Popular training courses and a new mindset

While it's still too early to measure the impact on sales, initial feedback from participants has been very positive.

Cold questionnaires are carried out after each session, and the scores are excellent. Our teams emerge from these sessions more motivated, more confident, and ready to tackle strategic accounts. Christophe Ferrandou

Over and above the immediate results, the support we provided also helped to create a new dynamic within the sales teams, helping them to think bigger, to project themselves onto more complex deals, and to feel legitimate when dealing with high-level contacts.

Cultivating ambition and motivation in teams

This tailor-made support has accelerated the development of our teams' skills on strategic accounts, created links between our international talents, and strengthened their motivation.
